Atacama Experience

Arrival in Calama. Airport reception and transfer to the selected hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

In the afternoon we will visit the Valley of the Moon. Just a few kilometers from town, among the rocky hills and unusual rock formations of the Cordillera de la Sal, lies the Valley of the Moon, a true geological spectacle of enormous natural beauty and part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. During our tour we will enjoy its extravagant formations and its surroundings that invite contemplation. Finally, at sunset, we will see the golden and red tones that cover everything, making this an unforgettable excursion for every visitor.
Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, departure from the hotel to visit the flamingo reserve, passing through the altiplanic lagoons to the oxidized volcanic lava of the red rocks. The tour will offer several stops, each more incredible than the last, and learning about local fauna and flora. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Within the enormous Atacama Salt Flat we will visit Laguna Cejar, with extremely salty waters, amid beautiful turquoise-colored landscapes, volcanoes, and the grandeur of this salt deposit that hides an enormous lake beneath its surface. Next, we will visit the Eyes of the Salt Flat, two freshwater wells in the middle of the world's most arid desert, and finally, at Laguna Tebinquinche we will enjoy a pleasant aperitif while contemplating the reflection of the Andes in its waters, together with the whiteness of the salt. The sunset, with ocher colors and strong tonalities, will offer a true spectacle before our eyes. *Laguna Cejar does not operate on Tuesdays.
Accommodation.

Tatio Geysers. More than 70 fumaroles from which jets of steam emerge and form pools of boiling water. They show their best face in the early morning hours, when beautiful colors appear contrasting with the intensely blue sky and the pristine steam of the geysers.
In the midst of this impressive natural setting next to the Andes, we will enjoy a revitalizing breakfast.
Taking the return road to San Pedro de Atacama, we will observe the beauty of the landscape, its valleys, its native flora and fauna, where charismatic vicuñas and vizcachas stand out. We will then stop in the village of Machuca, an Atacameño town of barely twenty adobe houses with straw and cactus wood, where its inhabitants dedicate themselves to tourism and offer Andean crafts. Afterward, you will have the afternoon free, and as night falls, you can enjoy an astronomical experience. This Astronomical Tour seeks to develop the concept of the history of the universe from the Big Bang to the birth of life and consciousness. Using the development of visual, auditory, and information-sharing techniques, we will experience a unique and high-quality experience. We will begin with a Cosmological talk where we can discover where we are in the universe and how everything began. Furthermore, we will understand the cosmic process that led us to become what we are today and the probable futures of our civilization and universe. We will then observe the night sky with the naked eye; during this stage we will discuss the importance of astronomy and the fascinating characteristics of the main objects visible to the naked eye. Later, we will observe, through a telescope, the most notable celestial objects of the night; in this part of the tour we will be able to appreciate the beauty of space in greater detail. During the tour we will enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, accompanied by the art of space music, which drives us to a state of sensations and learning.
