Day 2: San Jose - Caribbean Coast
After breakfast, a representative from the car rental company will contact you at your hotel at the agreed time to deliver your rental vehicle. Then drive to the exotic and unique Caribbean coast. It will seem like you are in a completely different country, with a slower pace of life, Rastafarian culture, and reggae music. Visitors can enjoy a blend of African, Eastern, Spanish, and Costa Rican customs, which offer traditions and cuisine exclusive to this area.

Day 3: Caribbean Coast
Breakfast. Then, free time to explore this exotic destination. We remind you that, due to its geography, you can visit different beaches or even the rainforest within just a few kilometers. The beaches are idyllic, lined with palm trees that blend with white to ash-gray sand and the intense blue of the water that washes its shores. Numerous activities will make your stay unforgettable: forest walks, reef diving, horseback riding, surfing, and much more.

Day 4: Caribbean Coast - La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano
After breakfast, you will travel from the Caribbean coast to La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano. The main attraction here is the impressive volcano, with an almost perfect cone at 1,670 meters above sea level. The volcano's activity has decreased in recent years, but the mere sight of this colossus is a natural spectacle.

Day 5: La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano
Breakfast. Then, free time to explore one of the most popular and spectacular destinations in the region. La Fortuna is one of the most versatile destinations, as it offers a wide range of activities. From adrenaline-pumping activities, such as canopy, rafting, safari, horseback riding, rappelling, and mountain biking, to nature walks, caves, waterfalls, hanging bridges, and relaxing mineral hot water baths from a volcanic vein, you will find a very attractive offer.

Day 6: La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano - Monteverde
Breakfast and then drive from La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano to Monteverde at your preferred time. This area is undoubtedly a destination for nature lovers, with its main attraction being the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, recognized worldwide for its great biodiversity, contribution to conservation, and scientific research. The mist created by high humidity envelops the mystical forest up to the tallest trees. It is home to the elusive quetzal and the resonant bellbird.

Day 7: Monteverde
Breakfast. Free day to explore the natural beauties the area offers. Since Monteverde is a very nature-focused destination, most activities focus on contact with and knowledge of nature. You can sign up for any of the following attractions: butterfly gardens, serpentarium, or if you want a bit of adrenaline and a different forest perspective, you can try canopy or cross the hanging bridges, which will provide intense emotions and spectacular views. Day 8: Monteverde - Central Pacific Beaches
Breakfast and then drive at your leisure from Monteverde to the Central Pacific coast. This is a region with an irregular shoreline, where you will find long beaches full of lush vegetation, due to the humid and rainy climate. The landscapes are a perfect blend of exuberant vegetation, beaches with blue waters with calm waves, and relaxing red-orange sunsets.

Day 9: Central Pacific Beaches
Breakfast. Free time to explore the natural beauties the area offers. We recommend an evening walk to enjoy the warm sand and sea breeze.

Day 10: Central Pacific Beaches - San José

Day 11: San José - Airport
Breakfast. We recommend you return the rental car to the car rental agency 3.5 hours before your flight departure time. Once this process is completed, the car rental company will take you to Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José for your return flight. We hope your trip through our small country has allowed you to connect with nature and has been a relaxing experience for you. Have a safe trip home.
