Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival at the airport, a representative from our agency will greet you and provide a detailed explanation of your selected itinerary. After breakfast, you will head to Rainforest Adventure Park, a private reserve of 475 hectares adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will begin with a 1 hour and 10 minute gondola tour, enjoying panoramic views of the rainforest. Next, you will take a guided forest walk where you will explore a butterfly and hummingbird garden.
The park is dedicated to the rescue of orchids recovered from the surrounding forest. If you are lucky, you may see an orchid in bloom, an annual event, though some species flower more than once a year. You will also find terrariums with local amphibians and reptiles.

Early in the morning, the lodge guide in Tortuguero will pick you up and make a stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast before reaching the dock at La Pavona or Caño Blanco. From there, you will travel by boat through the channels of Tortuguero National Park, enjoying its rich flora and fauna.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a cocktail and lunch. You will then have free time to rest before taking an excursion through the picturesque town of Tortuguero. You can visit the Sea Turtle Conservancy Museum (USD 2 entrance, not included) or explore the town and beach at sunset. At the end of the day, a delicious dinner will be served. 1. The Tortuguero package operates on a regular basis, so all transfers and excursions take place with other guests. In addition, it is likely that on the first day you will be taken to different hotels for other passengers.

The day begins very early, exploring the most remote corners of Tortuguero's secondary channels, where you can observe the local wildlife awakening. With luck, you will see spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys and howler monkeys, crocodiles, red frogs and toucans. You will return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious breakfast and share your experiences. If you prefer, you can relax at the hotel facilities, enjoy a spa treatment or participate in optional excursions.
In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a walk along the lodge's private trail, where your guide will provide information about the forest surrounding the national park. As night falls, a delicious dinner will be served at the lodge restaurant. From July to September, you may opt for a nighttime beach excursion to observe sea turtle nesting (not included). After a delicious breakfast, you will begin your journey to La Fortuna. First you will travel by boat to the dock and then by bus to Guápiles, where you will enjoy lunch. From there, you will continue in a shared transfer to La Fortuna. The main attraction in the area is Volcán Arenal, known for its almost perfect conical shape. Although it has shown little activity for years, it remains the iconic symbol of the region with its imposing presence. Accommodation in La Fortuna.

After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up around 07:30 am to begin your hanging bridges excursion at Místico. This approximately 3 km tour will take you across 15 suspended bridges at heights up to 60 meters, offering you stunning views of the tropical forest and its wildlife, including birds, reptiles and mammals.
Next, you will return to town to visit the famous La Fortuna Waterfall. If you wish, you can cool off in the natural pool at the base of the waterfall, but you will need to descend 530 steps to reach it and then climb back up. After this adventure, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will take a walk at the base of Volcán Arenal, where, weather permitting, you can admire panoramic views of the volcano and Lake Arenal. The day will end relaxing in the natural hot springs of the area, with a delicious dinner to close out the day. Accommodation in La Fortuna.

After enjoying breakfast, you will continue your journey to the stunning Northern Pacific beaches, a Costa Rican gem that stretches along more than 200 km of coast. Here, you will enjoy warm weather while exploring white sand and dark gray beaches, which contrast spectacularly with crystal-clear waters in a palette of turquoise blue tones. After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day free to explore the natural wonders of the region. The gentle ocean breeze, sun and waves will provide you the perfect escape from daily stress. You can choose from a wide variety of optional activities, such as fishing, canopy tours, visits to national parks and biological reserves, or enjoy the blue sea with snorkeling, surfing, or simply relax under the sun.
