Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will meet you to provide a detailed briefing of your itinerary. You will receive a welcome package and a shared transfer will be coordinated to your selected hotel in the city. Overnight in San José.

Between 06:00 and 06:30, your guide will pick you up to begin the journey toward Tortuguero National Park. The route travels along Highway 32 through Braulio Carrillo National Park, offering views of the primary forest. A traditional Costa Rican breakfast will be served en route. Upon reaching the pier, you will board a boat to navigate the winding canals of the national park, an exotic paradise rich in biodiversity.

After a refreshing welcome cocktail and lunch at the lodge, you will have time to rest. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to the picturesque village of Tortuguero. You may visit the Sea Turtle Conservancy (entrance fee approx. USD 2, not included) or walk through the village and along the beach to enjoy the sunset. Dinner will be served at the lodge. Overnight in Tortuguero.

The day begins early with a boat tour through the secondary canals, offering excellent opportunities to observe wildlife such as spider, white-faced, and howler monkeys, as well as crocodiles and tropical birds. After returning for breakfast, you will depart by boat and then by land to a local restaurant for lunch.

The journey continues to La Fortuna, home to the iconic Arenal Volcano. While volcanic activity has decreased in recent years, the sight of its near-perfect cone remains a natural landmark. Overnight in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano.

Breakfast. Enjoy a free morning to explore La Fortuna, a versatile destination offering activities ranging from zip-lining, rafting, and horseback riding to cave exploration and waterfalls. In the afternoon, you will participate in a guided hike near the base of Arenal Volcano. The day concludes with a visit to local hot springs and a traditional dinner at the complex. Overnight in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano.

Following breakfast, a scheduled transfer will take you from La Fortuna to the North Pacific coast. This region is renowned for its diverse coastline stretching over 200 km, featuring a pleasant climate and beaches with sands ranging from white to volcanic grey. Overnight at your selected North Pacific beach.

Breakfast. Enjoy a free day to relax and discover the natural beauty of the Pacific coast. Available activities in the area include fishing, zip-lining, visits to biological reserves, snorkeling, surfing, or simply enjoying the sun. Overnight at your selected North Pacific beach.

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from the North Pacific coast back to San José. We recommend using your final afternoon to walk through the capital and experience the local atmosphere. Overnight in San José.
