Day 1: Guatemala Airport - Guatemala City (Saturday)
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Guatemala - Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. We will head to the Guatemalan highlands toward the town of Chichicastenango, where we will explore one of the most renowned indigenous markets in all of Latin America. This day we will have an experiential activity, conducting a corn workshop with local women, Guatemala's staple food. After the workshop we will continue toward Lake Atitlán, which Huxley said was the most beautiful lake in the world. Accommodation.
Day 3: Lake Atitlán - San Juan La Laguna - Santiago Atitlán - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit two of the twelve towns surrounding this beautiful lake. We will explore the Tzutuhil town of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its residents coexist with nature and culture. We will continue to Santiago Atitlán, a town inhabited by Tzutuhil indigenous people who live from fishing and crafts, though they are best known as worshippers of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón. Day 4: Lake Atitlán - Iximché - Antigua
Breakfast. We will head toward Antigua Guatemala. Along the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient capital of the Cakchiquel Mayan kingdom. Upon arrival in Antigua, we will tour this colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting its main streets and monuments. Accommodation.
Day 5: Antigua
Breakfast. The day is at your leisure to enjoy Antigua, strolling through cobblestone streets, appreciating its historic architectural styles, or resting at the hotel facilities. As an optional activity, we recommend an excursion to Pacaya Volcano or Tikal during the morning. Accommodation.
Day 6: Antigua - Pacific Coast - Monterrico
Breakfast. Departure toward the Pacific coast, arrival in Monterrico, an exotic beach with black volcanic sand offering a relaxed coastal atmosphere. Accommodation.
Day 7: Pacific Coast - Monterrico
Breakfast. A day to rest on this magnificent beach spanning over 300 kilometers, which offers a wide variety of water activities and nature experiences. We recommend enjoying the sunrise visiting the mangroves or delighting in local wildlife by visiting the Monterrico Turtle Reserve. Accommodation.
Day 8: Pacific Coast - Monterrico - Guatemala Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
