Day 1: Guatemala Airport - Guatemala City (Saturday)
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Guatemala - Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. We will depart toward the Guatemalan highlands with destination to the town of Chichicastenango, where we will explore one of the most renowned indigenous markets in all of Latin America. This day we will have an experiential activity, conducting a corn workshop with local women, the staple food of Guatemala. After the workshop, we will continue toward Lake Atitlán, which Huxley said was the most beautiful lake in the world. Accommodation.
Day 3: Lake Atitlán - San Juan La Laguna - Santiago Atitlán - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit two of the twelve villages that surround this beautiful lake. We will discover the Tzutuhil town of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its residents coexist with nature and culture. We will continue toward Santiago Atitlán, a town inhabited by Tzutuhil indigenous people who live from fishing and craftsmanship, although they are better known as worshippers of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón. Day 4: Lake Atitlán - Iximché - La Antigua
Breakfast. We will depart toward La Antigua Guatemala. Along the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient capital of the Cakchiquel Mayan kingdom. Upon arrival in La Antigua, we will explore this colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting its main streets and monuments. Accommodation.
Day 5: La Antigua
Breakfast. You will have the day free to enjoy La Antigua, strolling through cobblestone streets, appreciating its architectural styles of old or resting at the hotel facilities. As an optional activity, we recommend an excursion to Pacaya Volcano or Tikal during the morning. Accommodation.
Day 6: La Antigua - Pacific Beaches - Monterrico
Breakfast. Departure toward the Pacific coast, arrival at Monterrico, an exotic beach with volcanic sand and a relaxed, peaceful coastal atmosphere. Accommodation.
Day 7: Pacific Beaches - Monterrico
Breakfast. A day to rest on this magnificent beach that spans over 300 kilometers and offers a wide variety of water activities and contact with nature. We recommend a refreshing sunrise visiting the mangroves or enjoying the local wildlife by visiting the Monterrico Turtle Reserve. Accommodation.
Day 8: Pacific Beaches - Monterrico - Guatemala Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
