Day 1: Guatemala Airport - Guatemala City (Saturday)
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Guatemala - Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. We will depart towards the Guatemalan highlands heading to the town of Chichicastenango, where we will explore one of the most renowned indigenous markets in all of Latin America. Today we will have an experiential activity, conducting a corn workshop with local women, the basic food of Guatemala. After the workshop we will continue towards Lake Atitlán, which Huxley said was the most beautiful lake in the world. Accommodation.
Day 3: Lake Atitlán - San Juan La Laguna - Santiago Atitlán - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit two towns of the twelve that surround this beautiful lake. We will discover the Tzutuhil town of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its inhabitants live with nature and culture. We will continue towards Santiago Atitlán, a town inhabited by Tzutuhil indigenous people who live from fishing and craftsmanship, though they are more known as worshippers of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón. Accommodation.
Day 4: Lake Atitlán - Iximché - La Antigua
Breakfast. We will depart towards La Antigua Guatemala. Along the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the former capital of the Cakchiquel Maya kingdom. Upon arrival in La Antigua, visit this colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will explore its main streets and monuments. Accommodation.
Day 5: La Antigua
Breakfast. You will have a free day to enjoy La Antigua, strolling through its cobblestone streets, appreciating its ancient architectural styles or resting at the hotel facilities. As an optional activity, during the morning, we recommend taking an excursion to Pacaya Volcano. Accommodation.
Day 6: La Antigua - Tazumal - Santa Ana - Suchitoto
Breakfast. Departure towards El Salvador, a country considered the best-kept secret of Central America. After immigration procedures, arrival at the archaeological site of Tazumal, the most important Mayan ceremonial center in El Salvador. We will continue towards Santa Ana, the second most important city in the country. We will visit its charming historic center, the national theater, the central plaza and the Gothic-style cathedral. After the visit, we continue towards Suchitoto. Accommodation.
Day 7: Suchitoto
Breakfast. Today we will take a walking tour of Suchitoto, visiting its beautiful cobblestone streets, art galleries, craft houses, its central park and the Santa Lucia Church. Free afternoon for optional activities such as indigo workshop or boat ride on Lake Suchitlán. Accommodation.
Day 8: Suchitoto - Joya de Cerén - San Salvador
Breakfast. Departure towards the archaeological site of Joya de Cerén, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrival in San Salvador in the afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 9: San Salvador - El Salvador Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to San Salvador airport.
