Day 1: Guatemala Airport - Guatemala (Saturday)
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala Ciudad.

Day 2: Guatemala - Chichicastenango - Lago Atitlán
Breakfast. Travel to the Guatemalan highlands to the town of Chichicastenango to visit one of the most famous indigenous markets in Latin America. Today includes an experiential corn workshop with local women to learn about Guatemala's staple food. Afterward, continue to Lago Atitlán, celebrated for its natural beauty. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Lago Atitlán - San Juan La Laguna - Santiago Atitlán - Lago Atitlán
Breakfast. Take a boat to visit two of the twelve villages surrounding this beautiful lake. Visit the Tzutuhil village of San Juan La Laguna, known for the harmony between its inhabitants, nature, and culture. Continue to Santiago Atitlán, a town of Tzutuhil heritage famous for its traditional crafts and the veneration of Maximón. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Lago Atitlán - Iximché - La Antigua
Breakfast. Depart for La Antigua Guatemala. En route, visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the former Maya capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. Upon arrival in La Antigua, enjoy a tour of this UNESCO World Heritage colonial city, exploring its primary streets and monuments. Overnight stay.
Day 5: La Antigua
Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore La Antigua, walk its cobblestone streets, and appreciate the historic architecture, or relax at the hotel. An optional morning excursion to Pacaya Volcano is recommended. Overnight stay.
Day 6: La Antigua - Tazumal - Santa Ana - Suchitoto
Breakfast. Depart for El Salvador. After border formalities, arrive at the Tazumal archaeological site, the most significant Maya ceremonial center in El Salvador. Continue to Santa Ana, the country's second-largest city. Visit the historic center, including the National Theater, the central plaza, and the Gothic-style cathedral. Afterward, proceed to Suchitoto. Overnight stay.
Day 7: Suchitoto
Breakfast. Enjoy a walking tour of Suchitoto to see its cobblestone streets, art galleries, craft houses, the central park, and Santa Lucia Church. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as an indigo workshop or a boat ride on Lago Suchitlán. Overnight stay.
Day 8: Suchitoto - Joya de Cerén - San Salvador
Breakfast. Depart for the Joya de Cerén archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrive in San Salvador in the afternoon. Overnight stay.
Day 9: San Salvador - El Salvador Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to San Salvador airport.
