Day 1: Guatemala Airport - Guatemala City
Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City.
Accommodation.
Day 2: Guatemala City - Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. We will depart toward the Guatemalan highlands bound for the town of Chichicastenango, home to one of the most emblematic indigenous markets in all of Latin America. Upon arrival, we will immerse ourselves in a fascinating universe of colors, aromas, and traditions. The market, which comes alive on Thursdays and Sundays, extends like a vibrant mosaic where the scent of incense, the bustle of bargaining, and the fusion of Mayan and Catholic beliefs create a unique atmosphere. We will visit the Church of Santo Tomás, a symbol of religious syncretism, where ancestral rituals coexist with Christian devotion. Later, we will explore the local cemetery, famous for its gravestones and pantheons painted in vivid colors, reflecting a deep spiritual connection between the living and their ancestors. Today we will have a corn workshop, led by women from the community, which celebrates their role as guardians of Mayan traditions. Through their knowledge of corn, they share a generational cultural legacy. After the workshop, we will continue toward Lake Atitlán, which Huxley said was the most beautiful lake in the world.

Day 3: L. Atitlán - S.J. La Laguna - Textiles Coop. - Gastronomy Workshop - L. Atitlán
Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit one of the twelve towns surrounding this beautiful lake. We will discover the Tzutuhil town of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its inhabitants coexist with nature and culture. We will walk through its streets to observe the open-air murals that decorate them, created by talented local artists. We will visit Flor de Ixcaco, a cooperative of women weavers who will show us the weaving and dyeing process using natural dyes obtained from seeds and plants. We will continue the day with a local gastronomy workshop with women from the "Deleite Ancestral" cooperative who will share their culinary secrets, where we will learn to prepare typical Maya dishes with local ingredients. At the end, we will share the meal in a warm and authentic environment.

Day 4: Lake Atitlán - Iximché - Antigua
Breakfast. Departure toward Antigua Guatemala. Along the way, we will visit Iximché, the ancient capital of the Kaqchikel Maya kingdom, an important archaeological site where thousand-year-old stones still evoke the splendor of one of the most fascinating civilizations in history. In this sacred place, we will celebrate the lives of women through a MAYA CEREMONY, led by a Maya spiritual guide, with nahual presentation. After the visit, we will continue toward Antigua Guatemala.

Day 5: Antigua - Visit Antigua - Antigua
Today we will visit Antigua, declared a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. Famous for its cobblestone streets, baroque architecture, colorful facades, and the charm it has preserved throughout the centuries, transporting us to the seventeenth century. We will stroll through the Cabildo and the Palace of the Captains General, the Church of La Merced, San Francisco, and some other colonial corners. In the distance, the Water Volcano will be a silent witness to our walk. Rest of the afternoon free.

Day 6: Antigua - Guatemala Airport - Petén
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to Flores, Petén.
Reception and transfer to the hotel.
We will take a tour of the Island of Flores, with its cobblestone streets and colorful houses, surrounded by Lake Petén Itzá, which combines colonial charm, history, and a relaxed atmosphere by the water.

Day 7: Petén - Tikal - Guatemala City
Breakfast. Today we will visit Tikal, the largest of the known Maya cities. According to calculations by some archaeologists, up to 100,000 people came to live in Tikal.
Today, after more than a thousand years since its abandonment, the buildings still stand, fighting against vegetation that seeks to engulf them. We will explore the Central Plaza with the Temples of the Great Jaguar and the Great Pyramid, the Acropolis, and Temple IV, from whose summit you can see more than 50 km of virgin jungle. Lunch at a restaurant within the archaeological site. Transfer to the airport to take the domestic flight to Guatemala City. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Antigua - Guatemala Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
