Day 1: Airport - Ciudad de México
Reception at the "Benito Juárez" International Airport in Ciudad de México and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Ciudad de México - Querétaro - San Miguel de Allende
Breakfast. Departure for Querétaro, a World Heritage city, to visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Convent of the Cross, and the Historic Center. Continue to San Miguel de Allende. The afternoon is free to explore this peaceful city, a renowned residence for artists and intellectuals. Key sites include the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel, the Holy House Chapel, San Francisco Church, and the Allende Institute. The city offers a wide variety of local cafes and restaurants. Overnight.
Day 3: San Miguel de Allende - Dolores Hidalgo - Guanajuato
Breakfast. Departure for Dolores Hidalgo, the site where Miguel Hidalgo initiated the Mexican Independence movement in 1810. We will visit the national hero's house-museum and the birthplace of composer José Alfredo Jiménez. Continue to Guanajuato, a World Heritage city and home to the International Cervantino Festival. The afternoon tour explores its unique alleys and plazas, including the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, Juárez Theater, the Valenciana Mine, the Alley of the Kiss, and the University. Optional highlights include the Don Quixote Museum, Diego Rivera's house-museum, and the Mummies Museum. Overnight.
Day 4: Guanajuato - Zacatecas
Breakfast. Departure for Zacatecas, a historic mining city and World Heritage site. Notable for its pink stone facades, the cathedral is a masterpiece of Mexican Baroque architecture. The tour includes a panoramic view from Cerro de la Bufa, a cable car descent, and an educational visit to the El Edén Mine. Evening activities such as a musical "callejoneada" are available optionally. Overnight.
Day 5: Zacatecas - Guadalajara
Breakfast. Departure for Guadalajara, the birthplace of Mariachi and Tequila. The city tour visits the Hospicio Cabañas (featuring Orozco's murals), Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the Rotunda of Illustrious Men, the main plazas, and the Government Palace. Overnight.
Day 6: Guadalajara - Tequila - Guadalajara
Breakfast. Departure for Tequila, the heart of agave country. We will visit a distillery to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of the local spirit. Overnight in Guadalajara.
Day 7: Guadalajara - Pátzcuaro - Morelia
Breakfast. The first stop is the Rancho of Vicente Fernández and the "Tres Potrillos" shop. Continue to Pátzcuaro, known in the Purépecha language as "The Gateway to Heaven," famous for its colonial beauty and indigenous traditions. Located on the shores of Lake Pátzcuaro, sites of interest include the Basilica of Our Lady of Health, the House of Eleven Courtyards, the historic center, and Janitzio Island. Continue to Morelia for overnight.
Day 8: Morelia - Ciudad de México
Breakfast. Morelia is a World Heritage city celebrated for its pink stone colonial architecture. We will visit the Cathedral, Government Palace, Clavijero Palace, Plaza Mayor, the traditional candy market, and the Aqueduct. Departure for Ciudad de México. Arrival and overnight.
Day 9: Ciudad de México
Breakfast. City tour visiting the Historic Center (World Heritage site), including a panoramic view of the National Palace, the Zócalo, Templo Mayor, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The route continues through Chapultepec Park and the Zona Rosa. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.
Day 10: Ciudad de México - Airport
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your return flight. End of services.
