Day 1: Airport - Ciudad de México
Reception at the "Benito Juárez" International Airport in Ciudad de México and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Ciudad de México - Morelia
Breakfast. Morning departure for Morelia, a World Heritage city. Known for its stunning colonial architecture, we will visit the Cathedral, Government Palace, Plaza de los Mártires, the traditional candy market, the Aqueduct, and the Guadalupe Chapel. Overnight.
Day 3: Morelia - Patzcuaro - Guadalajara
Breakfast. Morning visit to the House of the Eleven Patios, the Basilica of Our Lady of Health, and the Gertrudis Bocanegra Library, home to murals by Juan O'Gorman. We will also explore Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza and its traditional market. At the scheduled time, we depart for Guadalajara. En route, we visit Vicente Fernandez's "Los Tres Potrillos" ranch (access subject to private security availability), including its restaurant for lunch on your own and its famous Western wear store. Continue to Guadalajara, known as the "Pearl of the West." Arrival and overnight stay.
Day 4: Guadalajara - Tequila - Tlaquepaque - Guadalajara
Breakfast. Morning departure to the Tequila region, birthplace of Mexico's iconic ancestral spirit. In the town of Amatitlan, we visit a premier distillery to learn about the production process. Afterward, continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, a town near Guadalajara renowned for its blown glass and exceptional handicrafts. Return to Guadalajara. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Guadalajara - Guanajuato
Breakfast. Visit to the Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the Rotunda of Illustrious Men, and the Government Palace featuring Orozco's magnificent murals. We will also see Plaza Tapatia and a panoramic view of the Hospicio Cabañas, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, proceed to Guanajuato. Arrival and overnight stay.
Day 6: Guanajuato - San Miguel de Allende
Breakfast. Tour of this beautiful colonial city and UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the International Cervantino Festival. Explore its picturesque narrow alleys and plazas, including the University, Juarez Theater, the Alley of the Kiss, and the Diego Rivera House-Museum. The city features unique underground avenues, the Jorge Negrete house, the Quijote Museum, and the famous Mummy Museum. Later, continue to San Miguel de Allende, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the city's spectacular colonial mansions and its Neo-Gothic Parish, a unique Mexican landmark. Overnight stay.
Day 7: San Miguel de Allende - Queretaro - Ciudad de México
Breakfast. Depart by road for Querétaro, a historic UNESCO World Heritage city central to the War of Independence. In the afternoon, return to Ciudad de México. Arrival and overnight stay.
Day 8: Ciudad de México
Breakfast. City tour beginning at the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Zocalo (main square), the National Palace (panoramic), the Aztec Templo Mayor, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will drive along major avenues to Chapultepec Park, exclusive residential areas, and the Zona Rosa. Return to the hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Ciudad de México - Airport
Breakfast. At the designated time, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
