Day 1: Airport - Ciudad de México
Reception at the "Benito Juárez" International Airport in Ciudad de México, followed by transfer to your selected hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: Basílica de Guadalupe - Xochimilco & Garibaldi
Breakfast. Begin a panoramic city tour of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the National Palace, the Zócalo, the Aztec Templo Mayor, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, followed by a drive along the main avenues, Chapultepec Park, and Paseo de la Reforma. Continue to the Basílica de Guadalupe, the most visited Catholic shrine in the Americas, where you can see both the 18th-century basilica and the modern temple. In the afternoon, visit the Xochimilco neighborhood to ride a traditional "trajinera" boat through its ancient canals and gardens. In the evening, visit Plaza de Garibaldi, the vibrant epicenter of mariachi music, for a traditional Mexican show and live music. Dinner at a local restaurant included. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Ciudad de México - Cholula - Puebla
Breakfast. Depart for Puebla with a stop at the Ex Hacienda Chautla, famous for its English-style castle situated in the middle of an artificial lake surrounded by forest. Continue to the picturesque town of Cholula to visit its main square and the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, which offers magnificent panoramic views. Finally, arrive in the city of Puebla to visit the Rosario Chapel, the Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor, and the historic center. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Puebla - Monte Albán - Oaxaca
Breakfast. Visit Monte Albán, an archaeological site built atop a mountain featuring Olmec, Zapotec, and Mixtec influences. Explore the Great Plaza, the Observatory, Tomb Number 7, and the Stelae of the Dancers. Continue to Oaxaca, with a free afternoon to enjoy the city. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Oaxaca - San Pablo Villa de Mitla - Tuxtla
Breakfast. Early morning departure from Oaxaca to the "Pueblo Mágico" of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. Enjoy a walk by the 16th-century San Pablo Church and its rustic streets. Continue through the Oaxaca mountains toward the Isthmus, with a stop for lunch (included) along the way. Arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Sumidero Canyon - Chiapa de Corzo - Zinacantán - San Juan Chamula
Breakfast. Depart for Sumidero Canyon for a boat ride through the impressive gorge, reaching depths of nearly 1 km. Afterward, visit the colonial town of Chiapa de Corzo. Explore the Tzotzil indigenous communities, starting with San Juan Chamula to observe the unique fusion of contemporary traditions and ancestral Mayan rites within its famous church. Continue to Zinacantán to see local women working with backstrap looms and admire their intricate traditional clothing and craft workshops. Proceed to San Cristóbal de Las Casas for a free afternoon in this colonial city founded in 1528. Overnight stay.
Day 7: San Cristóbal - Ocosingo - Agua Azul - Misol Ha - Palenque
Breakfast. Journey through the mountain landscapes of Chiapas, home to communities that preserve Mayan languages and traditions. Stop in the regional capital of Ocosingo before continuing to the Agua Azul National Park. Lunch is included, with time to walk or swim among more than 50 waterfalls. Visit Misol Ha, an impressive cascade with a path leading behind the water curtain. Arrive in Palenque for a traditional dinner (included) and overnight stay.\nNote: In the event of road closures in the Ocosingo region due to social tensions, an alternative route via Villahermosa and the Yumka ecological reserve will be taken.
Day 8: Palenque - Campeche
Breakfast. Visit the Palenque archaeological site, a Mayan city nestled in the jungle, featuring temples, pyramids, and a ball court. Journey toward the Gulf of Mexico through the state of Tabasco to Campeche. This city is famous for its colonial buildings and 16th-century fortifications built to defend against pirate attacks. Overnight stay.
Day 9: Campeche - Mérida
Breakfast. Depart for Yucatán, arriving in Mérida in approximately two hours. Visit the vibrant state capital to see its rich colonial and Mayan heritage, including the fortified Cathedral, the Third Order limestone church, and the 16th-century Casa de Montejo, a masterpiece of Plateresque architecture. The afternoon is free to explore the city or visit the Mayan World Museum. In the evening, a transfer is included to attend a performance of the traditional Mayan ball game. Overnight stay.
Day 10: Mérida - Izamal - Chichén Itzá - Río Lagartos
Breakfast. Discover the state of Yucatán starting with Izamal, a "Pueblo Mágico" known for its beauty. Continue to Chichén Itzá, the most renowned vestige of Mayan civilization and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tour the ancient city, including the Kukulcán Pyramid and the Temple of the Warriors. A Mayan lunch is included after the visit. Finally, travel to Río Lagartos, a small fishing village located within a Biosphere Reserve. Overnight stay.
Day 11: Río Lagartos - Valladolid - Cenote Choj Ha - Cancún
Breakfast. In the morning, we will explore the Río Lagartos biosphere reserve by boat. This natural sanctuary is home to crocodiles, diverse bird species, pelicans, and pink flamingos. Travelers can participate in the "Clay Experience," applying mineral-rich mud known for its exfoliating properties. We then continue to the historic town of Valladolid. Our final stop is Cenote Choj Ha, managed by a local Mayan community, where we will walk a short jungle path to visit a dry cave and swim in its natural underground lake. Overnight in Cancún.
Day 12: Cancún
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beaches or join optional excursions to Isla Mujeres, Xcaret, Tulum, Xel-Há, or Cozumel. Overnight.
Day 13: Cancún - Airport
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Rates and availability do not apply during the 2026 World Cup, Formula 1 dates, Day of the Dead, or the Virgin of Guadalupe celebrations.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Cancellations made within 30 days of departure, or no-shows, will incur a penalty of the total trip cost. Reservations made during the Summer season are non-refundable and will be charged at the full amount.

Note: Hotel infrastructure in Rio Lagartos is very limited. Occasionally, accommodation may be provided in Valladolid. In such cases, the visit to Valladolid will take place on Sunday instead of Monday, allowing for more time in Rio Lagartos on Monday.
