Day 1: Airport - Mexico City
Reception at Mexico City international airport "Benito Juárez", transfer to your hotel of choice and accommodation.
Day 2: Basilica of Guadalupe - Pyramids of Teotihuacan
Breakfast. We will begin our tour visiting the Plaza of the Three Cultures, where past and present blend together. From there we will continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Quetzalpapalotl temple, the citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. We will also visit a craft center. On the way back to the city we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America. Return to hotel and rest of the day free.

Day 3: Mexico City - Tuxtla Gutiérrez
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Tuxtla. Reception at Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport, afternoon free.

Day 4: Tuxtla - Sumidero Canyon - Chiapa del Corzo - Zinacantan - San Juan de Chamula - San Cristóbal
Breakfast. We will depart towards Sumidero Canyon, where we will board a boat to navigate the impressive canyon with almost 1 km depth and 14 km length. Then we will take a walk through Chiapa de Corzo, a colonial site of tradition and culture. We will visit beautiful indigenous communities of the Tzotzil ethnic group; first visiting Chamula to learn and understand the fusion of contemporary traditions and ancestral Mayan characteristics that identify this place.
Later, we will continue to Zinacantán, where we will observe how women work the backstrap loom and admire the beautiful traditional dresses worn by women, as well as small shops and craft workshops.
We will visit San Juan Chamula, which will surprise us with its impressive church that blends Christianity and pre-Columbian traditions in its rituals. After that, we will head to San Cristóbal de las Casas and the rest of the day free to enjoy this beautiful colonial city founded in 1528.
Accommodation.
Day 5: San Cristóbal - Ocosingo - Agua Azul - Misol Ha - Palenque
Breakfast. A stage of beautiful mountain landscapes in the interior of Chiapas, areas inhabited by communities that have maintained their Mayan origin language and traditions. We will have a stop in Ocosingo, the regional capital. After that, we will continue towards Agua Azul, to the National Park, we will have a stop to enjoy an included lunch and time to walk or swim among the more than 50 waterfalls of between 3 and 30 meters high. We will continue towards Misol Ha, an impressive waterfall, where you can walk the path behind the cascade. Later we will head to Palenque where we will enjoy a delicious included dinner.
Accommodation.
Note: In the Ocosingo region, road blockages occasionally occur (due to social tensions in the area). If this happens, an alternative route would be taken, eliminating the stops in Ocosingo, Agua Azul and Misol, and instead visiting the city of Villahermosa and the Yumka ecological reserve.
Day 6: Palenque - Campeche
Breakfast. We will visit the impressive archaeological zone of Palenque, a Mayan city surrounded by jungle. We will explore its temples, pyramids and the ball court. After that we will head towards the Gulf of Mexico through the state of Tabasco towards Campeche, a city known for its colonial buildings and 16th-century fortifications, famous for its constant pirate attacks, due to which it is surrounded by forts and walls.
Arrival and accommodation.
Day 7: Campeche - Mérida
Breakfast. We will depart towards Yucatán and in approximately two hours we will arrive in Mérida, to visit the vibrant capital of the State that treasures a rich colonial and Mayan heritage. We will visit the fortified cathedral of Mérida and the limestone church of the Third Order as well as the Casa de Montejo, a 16th-century mansion, which is an emblem of Plateresque colonial architecture. In the afternoon you can visit the city on your own and if you prefer, visit the Museum of the Mayan World. In the evening, we will include a transfer to attend the "Representation of the Mayan ball game".

Day 8: Mérida - Izamal - Chichén Itzá - Rio Lagartos
Breakfast. Today we will have the opportunity to get to know the state of Yucatán. We will visit the town of Izamal, one of the most beautiful and declared one of the most beautiful towns in Mexico, declared a "Magical town".
We will visit Chichén Itzá where we will appreciate the most important and renowned vestige of Mayan civilization, considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will explore the ancient city, knowing the mythical pyramid of Kukulcán and the Temple of Warriors. After the visit we include Mayan cuisine lunch. Later we will head towards Rio Lagartos, a small fishing village in the center of a Biosphere Reserve.
Accommodation.
Day 9: Rio Lagartos - Valladolid - Cenote Choj Ha - Cancún
Breakfast. In the morning, we will enjoy an exciting day where nature is the protagonist. We will have a boat ride where we will venture into the biosphere reserve. We will be able to see crocodiles among the mangroves, a large number of birds, pelicans and pink flamingos.
You will also be able to experience the "Mud experience", coating yourself with mud with high concentrations of sulfur, minerals and salts that act as exfoliants for the skin, leaving a sensation of softness throughout the body. After that, we will travel to Valladolid, a very pleasant historic site. Finally, we will visit Cenote Choj Ha, managed by the local Mayan community. We will walk a short trail in the jungle to visit its dry cave and you will be able to swim in the wonderful interior lake of the wet cave.
Accommodation in Cancún.
Day 10: Cancún
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the beaches of these wonderful tourist destinations or do some optional activities such as Isla Mujeres, Xcaret, Tulum/Xel-Há or Cozumel.

Day 11: Cancún - Airport
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board your return flight home.

Not available during the 2026 World Cup, Formula 1 dates, Day of the Dead or celebrations of the Virgin.

2027 Departures: January 3, 17 and 31, February 14 and 28, March 14 and 28.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Within 30 days before departure or no-show, costs will be the full amount of the trip. Reservations made during summer season cannot be cancelled and the full amount of the trip will be charged.

Note: the hotel infrastructure in Rio Lagartos is very limited. On occasions we may provide accommodation in Valladolid. In that case, the Valladolid visit will take place on Sunday instead of Monday and we will have more time in Rio Lagartos on Monday.
