Mayan Heritage Extension

Day 1: Cancún - Tulúm - Kohunlich - Chicanna (Monday)
Departure from Cancún to Chetumal. En route, visit the archaeological site of Tulum, a Mayan walled city built overlooking the Caribbean Sea near the world's second-largest coral reef. Following the tour, continue to the Kohunlich archaeological site to view its impressive stucco masks, the ball court, and the Plaza of the Stelae. Overnight in Chicanna.
Day 2: Chicanna - Becan - Misol Ha Waterfall - Palenque
Breakfast. Early visit to the Becán archaeological site, which means "canyon" in Mayan, referring to the moat surrounding the central area. Afterward, transfer to the Misol-Há waterfalls for a refreshing swim. Continue to Palenque. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Palenque - Campeche
Breakfast. Departure to explore the mysterious Palenque archaeological site nestled in the Chiapas mountains. Highlights include the famous Tomb of Pakal. Afterward, continue to the coastal city of Campeche. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Campeche - Edzná - Uxmal - Mérida
Breakfast. Depart Campeche to visit the Edzná archaeological site, known for the remarkable acoustics of its structures. Continue to the state of Yucatán to visit Uxmal, celebrated for its intricate Mayan decorations. Finally, arrive in the "White City" of Mérida. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Mérida - Chichen Itzá - Cancún
Breakfast. Departure from Mérida to Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Learn how the Maya used their astronomical knowledge to create the descent of Kukulcán during the spring and autumn equinoxes. After the visit, transfer to your hotel in Cancún. End of our services.
