Viceregal Route from Guadalajara
Day 1: Airport - Guadalajara
Reception at the Guadalajara International Airport and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Guadalajara - Tequila - Tlaquepaque - Guadalajara
Breakfast. Morning departure to the Tequila region. In the town of Amatitlán, we will visit a top distillery to observe the traditional production process. Afterward, we continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, a village integrated into the city famous for its blown glass and high-quality Mexican handicrafts. Return to Guadalajara and overnight.
Day 3: Guadalajara - Guanajuato
Breakfast. Morning tour of Guadalajara including the Degollado Theater, the Cathedral, the Rotunda of Illustrious Men, and the Government Palace with Orozco's murals. We will also see Plaza Tapatía and the Hospicio Cabañas. In the afternoon, transfer to Guanajuato. Arrival and overnight.
Day 4: Guanajuato - San Miguel de Allende
Breakfast. Tour of Guanajuato, a World Heritage city. We will explore its picturesque alleys, the University, Juárez Theater, the Alley of the Kiss, and Diego Rivera's house-museum. The city is famous for its unique underground avenues and the Mummies Museum. In the afternoon, we continue to San Miguel de Allende to visit its colonial mansions and its iconic Neo-Gothic Parish. Overnight.
Day 5: San Miguel de Allende - Querétaro - Ciudad de México
Breakfast. Departure for Querétaro, a historic World Heritage city essential to Mexico's independence history. In the afternoon, return to Ciudad de México. Arrival and overnight.
Day 6: Ciudad de México
Breakfast. City tour of the Historic Center, exploring the Zócalo, Templo Mayor, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The tour also covers the main avenues, Chapultepec Park, and the Zona Rosa. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.
Day 7: Ciudad de México - Guadalajara
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport. End of services.
