Day 1: Airport - Cusco - Sacred Valley
Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco, our transportation service and a representative will pick you up and transfer you to your selected hotel in Urubamba (Sacred Valley).

Day 2: Sacred Valley - Chinchero - Urquillos - Sacred Valley
During the morning you will be transferred from your hotel in Cusco to Chinchero. This is a small and picturesque Inca town where you will learn about traditional textile and craft work in the area. Similarly, you will enjoy wonderful views of the Sacred Valley from above and visit the beautiful chapel that preserves original paintings from the Cusco school inside. From Chinchero you will begin a hike to Urquillos, a town located at 2,980 masl where Inca terraces, a temple and colonial haciendas are preserved. You will enjoy a box lunch during the trek. After exploring the area you will be transferred back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 3: Sacred Valley - Huilloc - Pumamarca
You will be picked up from your hotel and depart towards Huilloc where you will learn about this community's customs and participate in a demonstration of one of the ancestral activities of Andean life: the process of making garments using traditional techniques, understanding the meaning of their iconography. A local resident will show you the weaving process of Huilloc's typical clothing. In addition to the opportunity to appreciate this traditional activity, you can purchase one of these beautiful garments, contributing to the spiritual strengthening and identity of this Inca people, making this a complete and special experience. Later, you will head to the Pumamarca archaeological site, composed of structures such as terraces, roads and canals. You will have a delicious box lunch on the way. Subsequently you will visit the town of Ollantaytambo which has been continuously inhabited since the time of the Inca Empire. Finally you will be transferred from Ollantaytambo to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 4: Sacred Valley - KM 104 - Wiñaywayna - Intipunku - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes
You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ollantaytambo train station where you will board the train that will take you to kilometer 104 of the railway line, where you will begin your hike. After crossing the hanging bridge over the Urubamba river and passing by the Chachabamba archaeological complex, you will ascend to the magnificent Wiñayhuayna archaeological complex (2,700 masl) where you will enjoy a box lunch with views of the wonderful landscapes. You will continue your journey appreciating the vegetation that characterizes the place and head towards Inti Punku or the Gate of the Sun. From here you will have the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu citadel (2,430 masl). Later, on the descent, a bus will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here you will check in at your selected hotel. This tour is shared with other passengers.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
In the morning, after breakfast, you will ascend to Machu Picchu citadel. You will enjoy a guided tour through the Royal Circuit of Machu Picchu, this two and a half hour tour covers the lower area of the archaeological center, highlighting the House of the Inca, the Condor Temple and the Three Doorways area. This route provides a more detailed experience of Machu Picchu's urban area. In the afternoon, you will board the train on a one and a half hour journey to Ollantaytambo, our transportation will accompany you back to your hotel in Cusco.
*The circuit included in the Inca Trail entrance to Machu Picchu citadel is the Royal circuit or circuit 3B.
