Day 1: Airport - Trujillo - City tour - Trujillo
Upon arrival at Trujillo airport, a vehicle and representative will pick you up for transfer to your selected hotel.
A vehicle will collect you for a tour of the main tourist sites in the city. As an important center during colonial times, Trujillo holds an enviable architectural heritage, with beautiful buildings and mansions from that era. You will first visit the churches of Santa Clara and El Carmen, both with their respective enclosed convents that have been preserved over time. Then you will stroll through the Plaza de Armas, passing first through the Church of San Francisco. From the plaza, you can see the Cathedral, built between 1647 and 1666, one of the most important churches in the city and home to works of art from the Cusqueña and Quiteña Schools. Continue your route through the Casa de la Emancipación, the place where Peru's first independence was declared on December 29, 1820, now converted into a museum. Next, you will visit Casa Calonge or Casona Urqueaga, a residence that served as lodging for Simón Bolívar during his stay in Peru and which today holds a collection of archaeological and colonial pieces, including the desk used by Bolívar. Finally, you will go to the Museum of Archaeology and History of the National University of Trujillo. The museum contains more than 10,000 pieces, organized in six permanent galleries showcasing the development of pre-Hispanic cultures from Peru's northern coast and other archaeological discoveries that rotate through four temporary galleries. After this immersion in the past, return to your hotel.

Day 2: Trujillo - Huacas del Sol & de la Luna, Chan Chan, and Huanchaco - Trujillo
Today you will discover Trujillo's most important tourist attractions. A vehicle will pick you up to take you to the outskirts of the city where the Huacas del Sol and de la Luna stand, two magnificent structures of the Mochica culture. Before immersing yourself in ancient Peru, you will visit a Moche artisan family whose work maintains traditions inherited from their ancestors. According to research, the Huaca del Sol had a political character, while the Huaca de la Luna had a religious one; between them, a series of streets, passages, and residences show that the area was inhabited by middle and upper-class people. After a panoramic visit to the Huaca del Sol, you will explore the Huaca de la Luna, which impresses most with its level of preservation and study. Its incredible murals that remain today show the different Moche deities and other scenes of religious significance. Continue your visit to Huanchaco, one of Trujillo's most traditional beach resorts and popular for its caballitos de totora: boats made of plant fibers used by artisanal fishermen to navigate the Pacific waves. There you will enjoy a delicious lunch with local flavor. Finally, you will reach Chan Chan, the impressive mud city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Considered the capital of the Chimú culture, it comprises nine citadels covering an area of more than 20 square kilometers, making it the largest in the Americas. The details in its walls reflect the great work accomplished in its construction and that has endured more than a thousand years to the present.

Day 3: Trujillo - El Brujo Archaeological Complex - Chiclayo
You will depart from Trujillo heading to El Brujo Archaeological Complex, highly relevant for understanding Moche culture. Located in the Chicama River valley, 60 kilometers from Trujillo, it houses one of the most impressive discoveries of recent years: the mummy of the Lady of Cao, a Moche ruler who transformed the perception of women in ancient Peru.
The complex consists of three pyramids: Huaca Prieta, Huaca Cao Viejo, and Huaca Cortada. Huaca Cao Viejo is the main structure, featuring decorative friezes, a central courtyard, and a ceremonial plaza. It was here that the funerary bundle of the Lady of Cao was found, in a tomb that reflected her importance. Her body was nearly intact thanks to mummification techniques and was adorned with tattoos and jewelry, including necklaces, ear spools, and nose ornaments made of filigree, crafted with gold, silver, copper, semi-precious stones, and shells.
After the visit, you will continue by road to your hotel in Chiclayo.

The tour will continue with lunch at a local restaurant in Lambayeque city. In the afternoon, you will visit the Tumbas Reales Museum, home to the jewels and artifacts found in the Lord of Sipán's tomb. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Chiclayo.
