Day 1: Airport - Lima
Upon arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, a transfer and a representative will meet you to provide transportation to your selected hotel.
One night of accommodation in Lima at a selected hotel.
Day 2: Lima - City Tour and Larco Museum
Your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin a tour of Lima's Historic Center. The visit starts at Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion with over five centuries of history, considered the oldest house in the Americas. Next, you will explore the Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit the Cathedral of Lima. Finally, you will visit the Larco Museum in the Pueblo Libre district. The museum houses an extensive collection of pre-Hispanic gold and silver artifacts and a selection of erotic art, offering a journey through more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history. This is a shared tour.

Day 3: Lima - Arequipa - City Tour & Santa Catalina Monastery
A transfer service will take you from your selected hotel to Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima.
Upon arrival at the Arequipa airport, a transfer and a representative will meet you to provide transportation to your selected hotel.
You will then be taken to the Carmen Alto viewpoint for views of the Chili River and the Misti and Chachani volcanoes. Afterward, you will visit the Yanahuara viewpoint to observe the urban contrast and the local architecture made of sillar, a characteristic white volcanic stone. The tour continues to the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, before exploring the Santa Catalina Monastery, a complex of squares, cloisters, and narrow streets.
*Dress code for churches: trousers, long shorts, or skirts covering the knees are required for entry. Please note the pickup window for this shared service is 30 minutes from the scheduled start time.

Day 4: Arequipa - Colca Canyon
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin the journey toward the town of Chivay. The route crosses the Pampa Cañahuas within the Aguada Blanca National Reserve. A stop will be made in Patahuasi to enjoy local herbal teas and use facilities before continuing through Viscachani and the Toccra wetlands, where vicuñas, alpacas, and migratory birds can be observed. You will then reach the Patapampa viewpoint at 16,108 feet above sea level, offering views of the volcanic range. Upon arrival in Chivay, you will have lunch before being transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free for rest or independent exploration. Dinner is not included.

Day 5: Colca Canyon
In the morning, you will be transferred to the town of Yanque to visit its picturesque main square. The journey continues to Cruz del Condor, one of the most impressive points of the Colca Canyon. From this viewpoint, you may observe the Andean condor in its natural habitat. On the return trip, several panoramic stops will be made, including the town of Maca and its charming square. After lunch in Chivay, you will be transferred to your hotel to enjoy a free afternoon.

Day 6: Colca Canyon - Puno
By mid-morning (time varies by hotel location), you will be picked up for lunch in Chivay. Afterward, the journey continues toward Puno, crossing Andean landscapes on a drive of approximately five and a half hours. A stop will be made in Patahuasi for a brief rest. Later, at the Lagunillas viewpoint, you can admire high-altitude lagoons and migratory birds such as flamingos. Finally, you will arrive in Puno for transfer to your hotel to rest and acclimate to the altitude.

Day 7: Puno - Lake Titicaca, Uros & Taquile Islands
Puno is home to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Here, the Uros people inhabit artificial islands built from woven totora reeds. The tour begins with a transfer to the port of Puno to board a boat to the Uros Islands. After an exploration of the islands, the trip continues to Taquile Island, known for its ancestral culture and traditional lifestyle. Following an informative session and a local lunch, you will return to Puno.

Day 8: Puno - Cusco
Prepare for a journey to Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire, traveling through the Andes with views of traditional villages and native wildlife. The route includes a stop at the Pucara Museum and a brief visit to La Raya, the highest point of the trip at 14,150 feet above sea level, followed by lunch. The itinerary continues with a visit to Raqchi, home to the Temple of Wiracocha, and the town of Andahuaylillas, famous for its church known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas" due to its impressive colonial art. Finally, you will arrive at your hotel in Cusco.

Day 9: Cusco - City Tour and Nearby Archaeological Sites
Enjoy a guided tour of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. The visit includes the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the ancient Coricancha temple, and the Cathedral of Cusco. You will then explore the outskirts of the city, starting with the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, followed by the archaeological site of Qenqo. The tour continues to the Puca Pucara military complex and the ruins of Tambomachay, also known as the "Inca Bath," before returning to your hotel. This is a shared service.

The departure time may vary by up to 30 minutes due to the shared nature of the service.
The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC) included in the itinerary is personal and non-transferable. It provides access to 16 major attractions in Cusco and its surroundings, including Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, as well as sites in the Sacred Valley such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, and Chinchero.

Day 10: Cusco - Valle Sagrado - Chinchero, Ollantaytambo & Yucay Living Museum
A vehicle will pick you up in the morning for a transfer to the picturesque village of Chinchero. We will visit its impressive agricultural terraces and the 17th-century church, built over an ancient Inca palace. Next, we will stop at a viewpoint to appreciate the landscapes of the Valle Sagrado. The journey continues to the Yucay Living Museum, a center for traditional textiles, pottery, and silverware using ancestral techniques. Enjoy a traditional lunch in the Valle Sagrado before visiting the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a significant ceremonial center with mountain-side terraces. You will return to the hotel at the end of the tour. Please note this is a shared service.

Day 11: Valle Sagrado - Machu Picchu
A shared transfer will pick you up from your hotel in Urubamba (Valle Sagrado) for transportation to the Ollantaytambo train station.

*The pickup window for this shared transfer is up to 30 minutes.
Depart from Ollantaytambo on the Inca Rail Voyager train toward Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where you will receive assistance upon arrival. The return trip to Ollantaytambo will be on the 360° train. Each journey takes approximately 1.5 hours; schedules are subject to availability.
Aguas Calientes, located at the base of Machu Picchu, features a vibrant craft market, diverse dining, and lodging options. A 25-minute bus ride leads to Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering believed to be a sanctuary for the Inca Pachacútec. This UNESCO World Heritage site and New Seven Wonder of the Modern World will captivate you with its historical splendor. After the guided visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes. This tour is operated on a shared basis.
(*) From your confirmed entry time to the Machu Picchu citadel, you will have a 30-minute window to reach the entrance of Machu Picchu Mountain to begin your hike.
Enjoy a set lunch at Café Inkaterra, offering views of the Vilcanota River. The restaurant blends Andean architecture and cuisine with contemporary trends.

Day 12: Machu Picchu - Cusco
Enjoy a free morning in Aguas Calientes. You may choose to return to the Machu Picchu citadel to explore additional areas at your own pace. We recommend an early start to witness the sunrise over the mountains. In the afternoon, begin the return journey to Cusco.

*Note: Optional re-entry to Machu Picchu is not included; please inquire about the additional cost for a second entry ticket.
Following the train journey from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, a shared transfer will be waiting at the station to take you to your selected hotel in Cusco.

Day 13: Cusco - Airport
A representative will assist you with a transfer from your hotel to the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco.

ENTRANCE AND GUIDING:
The initial entry to the citadel requires a mandatory professional guide. Please note that the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The visiting routes within the Machu Picchu citadel and specific time slots are subject to availability.
To purchase Machu Picchu tickets, we require the full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number for all passengers. These details must match the valid passport used during travel. Please be advised that citadel entrance tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
LUGGAGE:
On all train services to and from Machu Picchu, passengers are permitted to carry only hand luggage (backpack, handbag, or briefcase) weighing no more than 8kg / 17.6 lb.
Maximum dimensions: 62 linear inches / 157 cm (height + length + width).
