Colonial Charm - Extension

Reception at the Potosí border followed by a transfer with our driver and guide to the city of León.
Known as the "University City," León is famous for its literary legacy, impressive colonial architecture, and its surrounding majestic volcanoes.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour with a local guide to explore its most iconic landmarks, including entrance to the historic Cathedral.

Our journey begins with a private transfer to Managua. Located on the shores of Lake Xolotlán, the capital offers crater lakes within the city and a lush landscape. The tour visits the Tiscapa Historical Park, Old Managua, Central Park, the Palace of Culture, the National Theater, and the New Metropolitan Cathedral.
After free time for lunch, we continue to the Masaya Handicraft Market, renowned for its handmade hammocks, wood carvings, ceramics, and traditional clothing.
Next, we visit the Masaya Volcano National Park, which features two active volcanoes and five craters. You will explore the museum and observe the Santiago active crater. Finally, we transfer to the colonial city of Granada.

Begin with a historical tour of the main square and principal churches, including La Merced, where you can climb the tower for one of the best views of the city. We will walk through La Calzada, a vibrant pedestrian street filled with local atmosphere.
The tour continues with a visit to the Bate Bate chocolate factory to learn about its production process. After free time for lunch, we visit a renowned cigar factory to observe the craftsmanship of local masters.
In the afternoon, we depart from Marina Cocibolca for a private boat ride through the Granada Islets, enjoying the views of the Mombacho volcano and the local wildlife.

At the designated time, your driver will pick you up for a transfer to the Managua International Airport. The journey takes approximately one hour. We recommend arriving at the airport 3 hours before your flight.
